'Speaking is Life...Speech is Ultimate! '

The lead facilitator of the HBC Foundation, Honour Barbara, was once a stutterer and a stammerer at the same time for twenty-six (26) years. After years of consultation, education (training) and hard-work, has now overcome after a progressive six-year speech therapy process.

Having acquired training with a number of training Centres both homeland and international, Honour Barbara has devoted her life to ensuring that determined speech impaired persons will be helped to overcome speaking stress (stuttering/stammering). She considers one's inability to speak naturally as a dream killer, a demoralizer of hope and self-esteem.
She is willing and ready to impact the 'know-how' to others who are determined to overcome and be fluent in speech, contribute to society and the world at large.

With Honour Barbara, 'Speaking is Life...Speech is Ultimate!'

Our Pledge

1.    The Stutterers' Clinic

The project focuses mainly on the ‘How’ to overcoming speaking stress (stuttering/stammering) among speech impaired persons, placing them on the path towards fluency, along with advocating and creating the awareness that speech impaired persons in society need to be helped and their concerns met.

One of the main reasons Honour-Barbara Centre was founded in 2016 was to compensate for the Speech Impaired's struggle with speaking stress (Stuttering/Stammering).

For this reason, on February 7, 2018 the STUTTERERS' CLINIC was open to the public at the BRITISH COUNCIL in Accra, Ghana, by the HONOUR-BARBARA CENTRE, marking the first of its kind to be operated on the shores of our homeland Ghana, which seeks to aid stutterers to overcome and restore fluency, and not only to advocate.

We at Barfordshire Institute have dedicated our time and invested countless resources to this charitable cause, and hope you’ll help us continue this work.

We support the Cause of the Honour-Barbara Centre Foundation (HBC Foundation ) by contributing the best in our interest to helping humanity, by making the world a better place for stutterers as well, and putting a smile on the faces of at least five stutterer, every year.

Partner us to give them this message of needed care, that "there is hope for the speech impaired!"

Ghana School of Entrepreneurship & Commerce has the passion of helping, supporting and giving hope to the impaired in speech. Not only do we seek to assist in advocacy for the impaired in speech or create awareness that they are, so must be helped and supported, but we also see it most important to help the 'Speech Impaired' by supporting the HBC Foundation to help them overcome 'speaking stress' (Stuttering/Stammering) in order to march on the path of speech perfection and fluency.
